Man Utd to submit bid to sign £85million play breaker
Manchester United are looking to strengthen things in the center of the park this summer and the name of Eduardo Camavinga has been in the lime light lately
Last month, RMC Sport revealed that the Red Devils are pressing to sign the French international and will hold talks to hire his services from Rennes.
As per the latest update coming from France, the Old Trafford outfit are going to submit a bid to lure the 18-year-old midfielder.
According to Le Parisien‘s own information, Man Utd should make an offer worth 30 million euros to sign the teenage sensation from the Ligue 1 side.
The renowned source have claimed that the Red Devils would welcome the signing of Camavinga but it is unlikely that a bid of £26million would be accepted by Rennes, who know that their prized asset is a wanted player in the market.
Back in May, RMC Sport reported that the French side are asking for a mammoth fee of 100 million euros (£85million) to let the play breaker leave in this summer transfer window. However, I think it is virtually impossible to attain such a huge fee for someone who will be out of contract in less than 12 months.
Moreover, I doubt Man Utd would splash 85million for Camavinga when they have agreed a deal worth £72.9million to secure their prime target, Jadon Sancho (The Telegraph).
Still, United do need a solid defensive midfielder and Camavinga has proved to be a quality play breaker at such a young age. He made his debut for France last year and found the net on his debut start (vs Ukraine).
