Frank Lampard says one Everton player really ‘disappointed’ after Leeds

Everton manager Frank Lampard has said on Sky Sports News that Richarlison was disappointed in the dressing room after the match against Leeds United at Goodison Park

Leeds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Seamus Coleman opened the scoring for the Toffees in the 10th minute when the right-back tapped in a rebound from Manchester United-owned Donny van de Beek’s cross.

Michael Keane headed home in the 23rd minute to make it 2-0 to the home team.

And then on 78 minutes, Anthony Gordon secured the win for the Toffees with the third goal of the afternoon.

Brazilian forward Richarlison started the match for Everton, and he thought that he had scored a brilliant left-footed goal.

However, it was awarded to Gordon, who had the slightest of deflections.

And Everton manager Lampard has said that 24-year-old Brazil international forward Richarlison is disappointed that the goal was not his.

Lampard said about Richarlison on Sky Sports News: “He is disappointed.”

The Chelsea legend added: “He wants to score goals, so he is a bit disappointed.”

Richarlison has made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton so far this season.

The Brazilian forward has scored four goals and provided three assists in those games.

Richarlison scored 13 goals and gave three assists in the Premier League for Everton last season.
